Yep, dont cut the topic out of your image, low camera works better with that, first image has it all. The overall image is quit nice, keep it up and maybe start on your next project and look back later when you have a fresh eye for things.

nice design , very minimalist and contemporary.... anyway the background is too sharp for the cg image maybe if you blur the background or frost the glass window a bit....... and the tub looks like the floor can move and cover the tub with a push button switch.. very high tech ,, haha ... do an animation on it......... and i cant wait to see it.. very good rendering!

I don't have any issues with the render, its a nice image.

The design, however, I see problems with; first of all, the view from the bathtub is quite horrible, looking at the underside of the wash-hand basin, as even the manufacturer doesn't want you to look there and they are not even normally glazed on the undersurface, let alone the plumbing connections being visible, etc. It also seems to be in the wrong location, since you have to walk across a narrow bridge of floor close to the tub to get to it. The WHB is the most commonly used appliance in the bathroom.

I would get rid of the WHB from that location altogether and place it somewhere out of this image, on an opposite wall, etc. and leave the view from the tub of the clean shower only. And if you're going to rearrange the bath, then ideally, a relaxing view from the tub of the garden would be great and swap the locations of the shower and the tub and give some clear glass at low level (eye-level from the tub) with a view out to the garden.

Thats my 2 cents.

thanks for all the comments!

I agree that I shouldn't cut off the tub, since it is the main subject - good call.

as far as the design goes, this is an actual project for a client of ours, so I have to stay true to the design drawings as far as that goes.

I'm mainly experimenting with getting the most realistic portrayal of light possible through the various openings. What you can't see off the right side is a butt-glazed corner window, and in the ceiling is a skylight. I would like to have the light come through this as well.

So far I think the shower area is the most successfull, as there is a skylight in there as well.
