C&C wanted. Marie curie hospice project.

Hi there

This is to be a scheme over view of a Maire curie hospice in Birmingham. Its basic at the mo as there is little infomation to work with . And as you can see there are no window as they have not been designed as yet.

Dispite this there is to be a presentation on Monday all the same using my work any crits and comments are greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Matt.

Cheers,

I work quite closely with the architects and as and when the windows are penned I will set to and model them . It will make a huge difference to the image once they are modelled.

Iv to take about four good renders and have them ready to be presented by tomorrow. Shouldn’t be to much of a mission.

Its quite a nice job this one.

Hi there Anthony

I use cinema 4d for the modelling. And Photoshop for the post work.

For this model iv worked form the architects hand drawn plans. Which can be a bit of a pain in the ass, but I often have to work form hand drawn plans so I’m used to it now.

Very nice work so far Matthew. Very nice environment. In this fase it is important, I think, to show what you (the architect) wants to express with the building: should it be part of the environment or contrast with it. because of the angle the (colouring of) roofs are important here.

Good luck, Ronnie

Very nice project and very nice model. You just have to love this image when you see it. The C&C I can give you are more on the planning part for your presetation.

Planners want to see design in context, you are showing a pretty high density for the plot, in the middle area. If you can show the surrounding area a little (in lines or volumes or even photo match) it would really help your case if that looks good. Have a look on my site here.

If your context is a problem with neighbours, maybe leave it out. Goodluck on monday!

Ronald
