Hey, seriously need help here. I uploaded 2 scenes here. one scene with the door open and another with the closed door. My question is how come when I leave the door open, the whole scene goes funny, turn out black and noisy. I tried to tweak everything I can but no luck. Something wrong with the room I guess. But what could be the problem? Thank in advance~! BTW, I used Irradiance MAp and Light cache. cheers~!

Maybe the background is black on the environment menu?

Yeah i assume that also, as you make an opening, the background color will work as environment and it will have some influnce to your scene ( unless you overide max at vray environment roll-out) so assume you have black background.... and try to incrrease the subdiv at irr map... maybe you can upload the setting for us.. so we can figure it together

Thanks for the replies, but how come the background on the environment menu gonna effect the interior? ANyway, I normally overide max at vray environment rollout with HDR image. I also realise it happens when there is overbiright reflection occur. Which mean nothing to do with the material but the lights coz when I remove all the lights, the scene render fine~!.. Funny huh?

If you already override the max at environment, so there is nothing to do with the background... mmm i wonder.... as I told you before, it might be better if you can upload the setting including the lighting setting....are you using vray light?

are you using vray light?
