Camera tiles

Hi all;

Anyone out there familiar with rendering out stills using

cinemas 9 tile camera thing'y.

 

Im not sure how to set it up but it would be very useful

for sharing stills across multiple machines.

 

I take it you can tell cinema to render.... say.. tile 1 - 3

on 1 machine then tile 4-6 on another and so on.....

 

Anyone care to elaborate on the subject?

Only problem is i cant seem to locate the 9 tile

ands the 25 tile camera.... there is an option for

tiled camera but!!!

 

I have brought this into my scene but i cant

figure out how to control the tiles... maybe im in

the wrong area altogether!

Read the tutorial a bit more carefully. The tiled camera is nothing more than an expresso script. Highlight the script and check its attributes.

Im a wee bit lost.... How do I change the tile camera into a 9 tile

or 25 tile camera. I cant seem to locate that setting. If i can find

this i should be able to figure the rest out myself.... hopefully!

I dont think you can...without tweaking the code. Thats how Dan Stubbs made the 25 tile camera. As far as I know you have to add the other camera for the tag. The entire refocusing of the camera is set up in that expresso tag.

Im lost;

Within my object library there are no options for a 9 tile

or a 25 tile camera... the only option in there on my system is for

a "tiled camera" if i select that do i then select the number

of tiles (9 or 25) within the xpresso tag?

 

If so where is it my good man?

Its possible we are on different versions of the software. I'm using 9.1 - is it possible that 9.5 changed how this worked?

That solves that. I suggest you re-install and/or contact Maxon support.
