JoHnStUmP
I'm still not understanding this program completely so I'm going to continue to ask questions. I hope you don't mind. How can you change the shape of the land that you are working with? Something like making that land hilly. Also how do you change what the sky looks like? Like if its cloudy or not. Thanks for your help.
Burk
First, with the sandbox tool, -I assume you working with 5.0 pro? Take a look at http://www.sketchucation.com/tutorials/techniques/photomappingp1/ Second, use a sky dome with an image ( or seperate an image). Otherwise you only can change color in the preferences - no clouds. Take a search in the SU Forum for sky dome. This should help
JoHnStUmP
Actually no, I only have the free version. Sorry, is it possible to do that on the free one?
Burk
Sky dome yes, sandbox no. It's only in the pro, but it can do manual. Use this link for tutorials:http://www.caddtutorialsonline.com/sketchup-tutorials.html Try out: "Projecting Textures onto Curved or Smooth surfaces" and "Sitework and contours"
