STRAT Posted May 25, 2006 Share Posted May 25, 2006 couldnt say. we used a render farm. ernest had the same problem and he used a different render farm, and when we confronted Maxon with this problem they tested it and had similar problems on their farm. The reason I asked is sometimes different CPUs give slightly different GI results, which would lead to a bit of flickering. I think I read somewhere that AR is one of the programs that does this. Take a look at their site (the comparison charts are impressive): http://www.artvps.com/page/3/products.htm For video cards I choose Nvidia FX or Quadro (better) like this you can benefit from Gelato rendering plugin: http://www.nvidia.com/page/gelato.html Best regards.
