purnomo_adi
I have an object with blurry reflections and when the reflection of this object is seen on another surface with sharp reflections (i.e like glass), the reflection looks much more noisy as if subdivs were not high enough. no matter how high blurry reflections subdivs, the reflection of the blurry reflections always look more noisy? You have to go into the rQMC tab in Vray and SLOWLY decrease the noise threashold. This value is very sensative an will overall increase your rendertimes. What I like to do (as does Vlado) is increase the Adaptive value form 0.85 to 1.0 and then decrease the noise threashold.
FlytE
Can you explain exactly what that adaptive value does and why the default is 0.85?
Christopher Nichols
Vlado explains it best: http://www.spot3d.com/vray/help/VRayHelp150beta/render_params_qmc.htm
