p_4204
If I place several spotlights spotlights of any type in a scene only the first one casts light. If I delete the first one the second one comes on If I delete the second one the third light comes on and so on. Is this a bug or a setting problem. Omni lights work fine. ANYBODY know the answer?? Ricardo Eloy
Ok, ok... I guess we all need a little fun time, don't we? About the lights: the first thing I do everytime something weird like this happens is to delete 3dsmax.ini. Then, I try again. Most common reason for strange behaviors is having the default settings changed. Happens a lot when you use the keyboard shortcuts (and, sometimes, miss one or another). Try that and tell us if it worked. Another possibility: which version of Max are you using? It just came to my attention the case of another user having a similar problem. He said it was probably a bug (max8), but I never got to confirm...
