skala67
I have finished the 3 rooms for Plan 1 of a housing development project in Vegas. (see earlier thread called vega$$$) I have the other two images in an earlier thread and have added the bathroom to this one. C&C Welcome. (only 3 more floor plans and 10 interior images to go) cheers,
Ernest Burden III
The Day of the Shadows The lack of GI is too obvious on these pictures. They are less about the play of light and more about the tyranny of shadows. Light is supposed to be additive, yet with these picture it's the shadows that seem additive. You need to use light to focus on parts of the image to tell a story of the spaces. The bathroom almost works with the bottle and glasses, but who in Vegas is hot-tubbing with champagne at noon? And the wine is in a shadow anyway. Find a sub-plot and focus on it.
skala67
i understand what you are saying. I have many more to do and will look to create that type of focus and understanding. thanks,
DennisHolland
Ernest is right, there are lighting issues... But, a compliment now and then is also very nice and motivating. I like the style/overall feel and the bathroom is perfectly modeled, nicely mapped. Get it on with the light and you're set... Dennis
Eyebog
Ernest is right! Light is the form giver. I like the texture mapping but needs more detailing. Eyebog
STRAT
looking nice, only i still think more ao or gi is needed to make all the furniture sit on the floor. it still looks semi floating. also, even though the general lighting and atmos is good, all the elements like the furniture are too dark and dont really fit. i suspect your main lighting rig as a whole needs tweeking somewhere down the line. mahorela
I really like these images, yes they are dark and moody but I think that once the lighting issues are sorted out, they are going to be awesome. I love the composition and the detail. nice going:D
