I think he took a Sager laptop and painted it yellow. The Sager should come in a bit over $4000. But I still think a laptop with a desktop AMD dual-core isn't a very good idea - a 2GHz Core Duo is maybe 20% slower but costs $1000-2000 less and can come in a laptop that actually gets some battery life - I have the Macbook Pro 17 2.16GHz Duo and it gets 2.5 hours playing DVDs, 4+ in normal use.

unless you absolutely need that 20% due to being able to buy only one system

also... the core duo also won't sound like a hairdryer from bootup to shutdown... trust me, I have a Northwood 3.2ghz P4 Sager and it's noisy as hell!

I guess I got over excited by the price, thought it was 'the real deal'. So I took your advice and now have ordered a 2 ghz core duo from Dell Mexico since I would only save about $500usd buying from ebay having to go thru all the hassle with customs, overpriced shipping etc. Thanks
