NOOXY
hey guys ..it's has surely beena while since i've posted..i was up to my neck in projects and they're just submerging a bit. anyway i was wondering, do you all prepare your lighting for your scene to mactch the background or do u search for a background to match your scene..other than taking the actual site shot that is. I normally render my illustrations then cycle through numerous images to put a background that matches not only the right perspective of my image but also the general lighting. Do some of uall operate that way or the oposite.jus want to improve my composition skills... thanks all:D
skala67
great to see you back, and also good to hear you are busy. For me, I do both. If it is a site specific photo that I have gone out and taken a picture of, then I match my lighting to the bakcgrounds. (Of course I can choose what time of day that I wish to take the pictures, so there is some artistic decisions made there.) If the background is generic, then I usually light the scene first to get the optimal results and then go through pics to match the scene. or you can use an HDR background, which would influence the lighting based on the background itself. Would like to see all the work you have been doing. Keep it up. cheers.
