skala67
Here is another in the series. I have been looking at these for so long, I can't tell if this is working or not. Please, your C&C would be most appreciated. 10X Thanks,
Poll
Looks Realy good! But to give some minor details C&C, i would have to say I would change a few things: - The TV: It has to be more reflective - The fireplace: Is it a fireplace? If it is, it seems to be very close to the couch, and very 2d. And the ventilationshaft for it would go up through the window. So, strange location if it is a fireplace - The banana's: Very very light. Why is the wood so black, and bananas so enlightned. Because of that, they really attract to much attention - The glass table: its very very reflective. Its hard to tell that it's transparent, cant see the legs through the glass. (or isn't it glass?) Ok, looking more closely i CAN see the legs. Maybe your IOR isn't the right one for glass? - The water jarr next to the knives. Is this a water jarr or metal? if its water, I would drink a little from it, so its more clear. If its metal then there should be more reflection in the stone surface its standing on. - If the table is made from wood, i think it should be thicker. - The hole left from the TV looks more like a mirror then a hole. I would remove the frame. It looks odd to me. The last one. Its probably me, but you might need a little camera correction. I only (like we call it in dutch) "fuck ants" this much (It means that i'm nagging very mucht) because I think it looks great, and you realy like to have every detail perfect! So its a compliment Looks realy good!
skala67
Poll, Excellent observations!! Exactly what I needed. thank you. I have tackled most of them. (except the fireplace, which from this next image is not as close to the furniture as it looks. That and not many people use their fireplaces in southwest US. Strange, but true.) I will be posting the image with those changes, later today. As for now, this is another angle of the same room. C&C. Thanks for everyones help so far,
Poll
Great! Looks very good too!! Have got little time right now, one quick thing! Your curtain on the right doesn't seem to cast any shadow! It realy cought my attention, and was wondering why the light came from that direction but seems to be so far to the right. But thats probably the curtain thing! Keep up the good work! Very very good!

mahorela
first of all I think these images are great and polls cc's are spot on. I will however have a rant about colour, particularly on the first image. I think there are too many conflicting colours in this scene, The plants are good and I like the hanging xfrog stuff and the pink colour that introduces and how it corresponds with the pink berries on the counter. Then we have the light green apples, the orange wood, vases and material (of unknown type) under the tv, the dark blue of the tv, some light wood tones and bread and all the myriad of colours in the pictures on the wall, it's just too much in my opinion. typically interior designers will be very selective with their colour choices ensuring for harmonious colour composition. it is a little overcrowded as well, it's like you just got xfrog and evermotion and looked at all the cool models and got carried away (it's easy to do, I know) maybe being a little more object selective would help? just my 2 cents
skala67
I agree that the image could be a little too over crowded. tryin to make it looked lived in, but it may have been a little over done. Im going to have to leave it for now and move on, but will work on color unity and less clutter in future images. I have fixed the first image based on previous suggestions and a few minor personal tweeks. Thanks for all the help.
