Ricardo Eloy
Do a search on this subject. We have a few threads regarding this, already. But, as for a start, know that your limit is your workstation. For large images, memory is an issue, so you'll probably want to use backburner to render it.
JamesTaylor
As Rick says its a memory issue so there will be a no. of areas that affect possible max render size......scene size, ram in machine, other processes running on machine etc
antonio_frias
Why is it that when i input a larger than certain output size render image in the Render Scene dialog box i get an Error creating bitmap message? Thanks I've had the same message a couple of times and I think it is a memory problem. Try reducing the output size of you rendering, that usually works for me. antonio_frias
Thanks Mohammed I didn't know that, I'm going to try it out later
antonio_frias
Well, I tried unchecking the bitmap pager but I still got the same message. In my case the only way to resolve the problem was to reduce the rendering size. Thanks anyway Mohammed
Ricardo Eloy
Still, it depends on the scene. The more complex it is, more memory it will require. From my experience, bitmap pager doesn't work for really huge scenes (but, hey, I might be wrong at this).
