How to disable key on generic keyboard ?

Recommended Posts

Ok, im done with this keyboard, who was the smart guy who designed this "Genius" keyboard?...no genius at all, thats for sure.

I got one of those generic GENIUS keyboards at office, dont know what model, is a pretty simple keyboard but with 3 special buttons, POWER, SLEEP and WAKE, the thing is that those 3 buttons are directly bellow the delete, end and down page ones, so it means the POWER button is next to the ENTER key and bellow the DELETE one.

And im fricking tired of hitting it by mistake, and closing all my programs and losing unsaved work, anyone knows how to disable those buttons?

Google a program called Keytweak. It has a learn mode (I think it's called semi-learning) where you hit a key and it records its mapping code. Then you give it a new mapping, so you turn the power key into shift or whatever you want.
