Candle Wax Material...

Hey gang,

 

I need a some really good candle wax material settings please. They should allow for some light to pass trough the areas of thinner wax and not much through the dense, un-melted, portions. Hopefully it will be some form of procedural set-up so that to change the wax color you simply use the diffuse color selector. Any thoughts...?

Thanks Olbo...I have those links too and have seen those tutorials. I guess I am just too busy to go through them right now and build a good shader. Just hoping someone had done the legwork already for me.

Ok Brian, here is a shader for a good wax material and it also includes a very good glass and car paint material too. need to tweak the settings to get desired wax but it is a great FREE plug-in. Hope it works:
