brianzajac
Sure. Haven't we all. It comes down to having a great website and a great portfolio displayed on the website. I can't imagine what else there is to say other than get the right people to look at your site.
IC
A website is important but only if you have made contact already. In my experience, the work very rarely comes to you. Send out fliers and get on the phone and try to arrange meetings. Then show them what you can do. Print good quality versions of your work and present yourself well without looking desperate. That way, contact and trust is immediately established.
STRAT
aye, we tried it once here in my locality a few years back. hard work it was. as IC says, get yourself out there and in their faces. make phone calls, knock on doors, arrange meetings. and if they dont get back to you, try them again next week. send pictures and flyers. even though we live in the www age, most peeps still like to see a physical picture in their hands rather than fiddling on a computer web site. brianzajac
Iain, Your right about the website not bringing in any business. I didn't mean it that way. As you said, great website is only important once you have made contact with the potential client.
