hi,

working on exterior rendering using daylight in 3ds max. Have attached two alternatives. One has lawn mapping & the in the other I have used Hair & fur modifier.

Please C & C.

regards,

sachin.

i much prefer the second finish, but image looks very flat, some shadows of tall trees coming across the foreground from out of shot would really work i think, creeping over the building too.

the back ground doesn't sit properly either, can't put my finger on but the different elements (forground, building and background) just appear to be stacked on top of each other rarther than physically being further in the distance, perhaps some DOF would help?

needs some more depth... better contrast (sunlighting) and perhaps a darker interior or artifical lighting inside may help. The material seems a bit flat too... if it's something with texture (it may not be) then add some. Concrete? Stucco? Metal?

is the material reflective, shiny, or just dull?

nice start.

Rendering (landscape) of 2nd one is better then 1st one. Mejor issue is the light

which make everything flat bring some contrust on the scene. Reflection on glass. Just look the bottom of the wall (shade) is darker then your shadow-solve it i think this will give you better result.
