antonio_frias
Hi everyone, I'm thinking of buying a new PC and I was wondering if it is possible to add my old graphics card to the new rig; that is, have two graphic cards working together?
AJLynn
It is, if the new PC has the right kind of slot - a lot of new PCs, I'd guess most of them now, don't have an AGP slot, and if your old card is PCIE you would need 2 PCIE 16x slots.
antonio_frias
Thanks Andrew, I hadn't thought of that! I have an AGP card and the PC I'm thinking of buying is PCIE
tecton3d
Thanks Andrew, I hadn't thought of that! I have an AGP card and the PC I'm thinking of buying is PCIE ... build a rendernode and put the old AGP in as a backup for the case of if/when your primary workstation goes down:D
