The first one looks great. Nice airy feel to it.

The second has a problem with the interior not matching the exterior.

I'd let them run a bit longer to get rid of the grain. Or turn down the bounces and up the intensity.

Nice....... So these are the 30 bounce renders. well yes the first one is very good. If there were a bit more mood to the image i think would make it stand out more. as for the second well u can't use lakeram for everything, now, john come on. and the noise well u'll just have to cook it longer, I did read once iain mentioned this was because of too many bounces or was it about the lighting quality, I vaguely remember. anyhow fantastic work just a bit o adjustments here and there.

By the way Iain I would like to introduce to you my two friends here Jzon and charqoal, close friends and were all into lightwave. just a curtesy call.

cheers!!:)

These are done with 30 bounces?!?

No wonder they're grainy! I have a dual 3 Ghz machine here and I can't get a decent sized render overnight with more than 4 bounces.

And I agree, that lake image shouldn't be used for anything other than reflections.

Anyway, welcome aboard guys. Get posting on the Lightwave Forum!

thanks guy, anyway ive been doing changes and i will post it when its completed, the rendering setup is not 30 bounces la dey! actually 15 bounces, 110 intensity and the light quality is 5.000..and i use the Fprime preview not the fprime render...

First of all, you really dont need to go over 3 bounces when using fprime...theres very little visible difference. Second, use the fprime preview only for previewing your image while working on it. The fprime render goes much faster.
