drvox
Hi all I've been trying to render this scene with mental ray but I always get these little squares even when I try to render with high quality... Does anybody know what is going wrong with my rendering parameters? By the way, I'm working for 2 months in Autodesk viz and I would like to have some critics and suggestions to improve my first image... Thanks to all King Regards
noi-pi
Increase FG samples would smoothen it out.

Justin Hunt
Well said:) Without any info on your light and render settings i is difficult to say why its taking so long. If you are just using FG then yes rendertimes can be huge. Try using photons and FG together, your results will be improved and render times dropped. Start with low settings and work up. An oft overlooked settings are the Indirect illumination settings of each light. Readup in the help files to get a fuller explination of each of these settings.
