Please Help

I'm having a hard time opening files that are from 3dViz (the latest version) to 3d max 3.1 are they not compatible. I know I can't Open Max 4 files in Max 3.1, Maybe the problem i'm having is similar I don't know. I'm realy hurting here. Please Help Me Cg Community!!!

i dont know if there is a convertion plug-in available but you can certainly save them as .3DS files whilst retaining nearly all of the same info.

here is a url to a VIZcopytool.exe which ithink can help convert VIZ into Max format, this may or may not work for VIZ (latest) back to Max 3.1:

There is an issue that VIZ4 files will NOT open in VIZ3 (let alone Translate them into MAX)
