3darchitect
Ok, so I'm new to 3D rendering, and forums are cool and all, but I know I would be able to go a lot further if I had someone physically show me some things. If anyone lives in the Milwaukee, WI area please let me know if you'd be whilling to give me some personal assistance with some projects. I'm an intern at an architecture firm in my area, and it would be great if I could produce some high quality renderings for them. Or, if anyone knows how to find anyone in my area that would be able to give me a few pointers, that'd be great too. My biggest problems are just getting the image to look real. I've also had some difficulties in importing dwg. files and the like. What is the best way to render a building? Should the frame be made in ADT or in 3ds max (fyi, I use both). So yea. Virtual Partners
Good morning Luke, This is Jim Murphy. We have an Autodesk Dealership and Training Center located in Green Bay Wisconsin that has been a source of training and support for the community for over 18 years now. You can check out the Class info on http://www.virtualpartners.com Ted Boardman is currently teaching this thursday friday and saturday. So if you are able to drive to Green Bay you could meet with Ted on Break and maybe if your schedule permits you could go to lunch with Ted and I and the Class to discuss various solutions etc. You are certainly welcome. Ted has some great tutorials posted right on this site. You just scroll down to "up close with Ted Boardman" and click on his picture. This takes you to years of very productive articles. You can also call me at the training center at 800 701 7936 and anytime you happen to be in Green Bay we could talk about some of the issues you'd like to cover. Looking forward to hearing from you.
