redlancer Posted June 24, 2006 Share Posted June 24, 2006 I think the 'default lighting' check box is overridden once you put a light in the scene, so it wouldn't matter if it's on or off. You might experimenting with light cache for your secondary bounce. Lately I've been using IR+LC for interiors and IR+QMC for exteriors and getting pretty good results. It always feels (to me, anyway) like the QMC on interiors can't 'push' enough light into the scene. You can try bumping up the bounces on the QMC, but I've found anything above 6-8 doesn't change things too much. SteveJ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
