ki_cz
I've gone through dozens upon dozens of car, interior, exterior, etc. tutorials, but there is one thing that I still, for the life of me, find that I am having a tonne of trouble with. I'm guessing that it simply takes a lot of time, and effort, but I was wondering if there was a faster way to make chairs, similar to the one in the link below, than poly modelling which takes me forever, and I never get the results I want. More practice? Any tips at all? http://www.cgarchitect.com/resources/tutorials/smoke3d/tutorial3.asp
noi-pi
You can do it with polymodeling (from the wireframe shown). But there's a lot of flexibility if you model it using SPLINES. For more accuracy its better if you have reference photo on the BG and model only the half part... like you usually do in modeling cars.
