BunGHoLe
Sorry I'm asking you about that without first look in the 3dsm reference but I don't really know how is that called. I want to create couple of objects attached to another object and when the main object moves all other move too. Not to follow it exacly but to have some constrains and to rotate on their axes. It's for a windows with blinds. I can't really explain it but when you see the attached images you will get the idea. When the stick moves down the blinds should open and when the stick is up the blinds should be closed. I know I can do it by rotating them one by one but in the scene there are many windows and it would be easyer with such rig. If some one know how it's called in Max you can just tell me and I'll see in the references how it's done.
John Dollus
this is easy to do with parameter wiring. create a relationship between the Z location of the rod with the X rotation of the blind objects. I would create a dummy object controller instead to control both, though, so I wouldn't have to pick on that rod to animate it.
BunGHoLe
Right on!!! So cool. Is there a way to select multiple object at the same time? And one more thing. When I wire them the blinds turn upside down. Could I correct this or I should build them upside down and when I wire the objects they will be the way they should be?
