diegofer_9
Hi, We've been using VIZ2007 for the past 2 months and it works just fine, although we dont use file linking because we model in VIZ. The only issue we had was with Vray since the latest version creates an error when rendering bitmaps, but we requested build 1.46... from chaosgroup and it works just fine. Good luck

santiago
3dsmax 9 has just been announced, showing important speed increases and 64-bit support. Does VIZ 2007 have 64-bit support? If not, when was VIZ 2007 launched? I ask this, because instead of purchasing VIZ now, perhaps I may suggest that the company where I work purchase 3dsmax, because I don't know when the next version of VIZ will come out, and I'd like the new speed increases and 64-bit support as soon as possible. I wonder if anybody has asked this to Autodesk yet?
Trevor Tizard
Viz 2007 has been out for a few months now so it does not have the new features (including 64bit) available with Max9.
AJLynn
The new Viz release usually comes in late winter / early spring. Expect a Viz with the Max9 core next year.
santiago
The new Viz release usually comes in late winter / early spring. Expect a Viz with the Max9 core next year. I guess that would be around March. We just purchased a VIZ licence, and Vray! I guess we'll do without the performance enhancements that max will soon boast of, but the wait doesn't seem that long.
