STRAT
for whatever reason, it seams a fair majority of cg artists play instruments. usually guitars. you'd never have guessed, but i play guitar. lets see what you got. i'll kick off - here's my baby. a Fender USA Strat. (leftie). about 10 years old. original single coil pickups replaced with Lace Sensors, and an active boost pre-amp installed. awesomeness. i have Hank Marvin's signature on it from when i met him, so i have it insured for over 2K. it's a working guitar, i play it 2-3 times publically per week. i've just ordered myself an Epiphone Les Paul standard to compliment it. cant wait. come on then, lets see what you got

oluv
here my little setup. though i wouldn't say that i am really a great keyboarder. i would call myself more of an arranger or composer. unfortunately it is already a bit time ago, that i really could sit down and play around... Ky Lane
This WAS an old Fender, but after a drunken night, it became junk. I designed it in autocad, had it cut on a Gerber 3D router, 2 pack sprayed in a car booth, and the rest is history... Suprisingly, it sounds better than the original! AJLynn
From the hardware configuration I'd almost think that was a strat. Pretty damn cool job.
Ray
Here's my Stratocaster HH (dual humbuckers for those of you out of the loop). And my Vox AD15VT amp. Sounds excellent when I play those Gilmour licks--too bad I don't do them justice!

cullen
http://www.rbconceptsinc.com/ Not my concept or patent, but I did all of the design work and graphics for these guitars. I play the white one. It's a 5 string on the back and a 4 string fretless on the front.

rotten42
After many years, I've settled on this set-up: 72" Gibson Les Paul Deluxe (Dark Sunburst) - I love this guitar more than my wife. (Honey, if you see this, I'm just kidding) Custom made Fender Strat. HR- It's been put together with an original body and American re-issue neck - Seymour Duncan double coil bridge pick-up with a Floyd-Rose bridge - Blood red wth Rosewood neck BC Rich NJ series - Black (My beater guitar) Yamaha - Cassical acoustic Line6 Flextone 2 w/ pedal board - I've always been a tube kind of guy (Marshalls and Hiwatts with a power soak until I found this amp) also have a line 6 Guitar port hooked up to my computer. HomeBrewTJ
I'm on the other end: 1996 Fender American Standard P-Bass- sunburst. I used to have a 57, but it was stolen about 10 years ago. I miss that guy. Ampeg v4b and svtII heads with a 4x10 and 8x10 cabs. AJLynn
Last week I inherited an SG from maybe 1965-67. With a Princeton tube amp from the same time that I haven't brought home yet, but I'm told it's very loud. I think I need to have these appraised and insured. Can anybody tell me what the color is called? The cherry color they sell now is much more red. Now I need to get a lot better at playing it... Ky Lane
While this subject is up, can anyone recommend a good PC program to simulate amp effects? Rather than go buy myself a new amp, I have a nice media PC setup on my new huge stereo... interested to hear if it sounds any good.. Any suggestions?
