hervelkors
I have just started working with a new company that uses maxwell. From what I have read on forums there are a lot of bugs when working in Maya and 3ds. I have to learn how to use the maxwell renderer and I can choose to work in Maya, Max or Maxwell studio. I was wondering what wolkflow you find most effective? My guess now is modeling and uv-mapping in Maya or Max and then exporting to Maxwell studio and do the textures and lighting there.. /Emma
Devin Johnston
IMO if your able to use the 3D Studio plugin then there is no need to use Maxwell Studio. Next Limit created Studio basically so they wouldn’t have to support a large number of plugins but luckily for you 3D Studio and Maya are among the most highly developed of the plugins and are capable of doing virtually everything that Studio is able to do. The work flow between Max and Studio has some serious disadvantages which you don't have to worry about using the plugin so I would suggest not messing with it at all.
