Ricardo Eloy
T-shirts like those are best if modeled. If you're a max user, try the Cloth Extension.

STRAT
they still look like wafers. like they've been deep freezed. and the maps all look the same. as Rick says, best model them.
DaveP
The trouble is that this is just a small demo, part of a bid, the actual project has over 200 garments and many more accessories, so i have to find the most efficient way of doing the final 20 Vray views and a animation. thanks for comments so far DaveP
Ricardo Eloy
Then again, modeling them you could turn them into VRay Meshes and insert as many as you want as proxy objects.
Wilko
What I would try: Firstly, make the hangers and t-shirts a seperate object. Do a mesh select of all the vertices EXCEPT those very close to the neck, and where the hanger would go into the shirt (they should be more rigid). Add a turbo smooth modifier, and change the iterations to 2 or so (maybe just render iters. if you need the computing power while you work on it). Add a noise modifier on top of that, and then change the seed on every shirt, so they appear to be unique t-shirts... Just an idea.
