Sketchrender
I have used standard vray glass in an image and the background is completely washed out. The view is from the inside of a cafe. Can somebody please tell me why this is happening . I have one direct light, and direct light setting off. I have enviromental setting set to 2 in vray, standard setting all round really. Glass is 20mm thick. So can somebody tell me. phil
Tim Saunders
My guess is because you have some color mapping adjustments in the vray renderer with "affect background" checked.

Ricardo Eloy
The way the colors washed out resembles that caused by Exposure Control... I'd check that, also.
theweasel
it's the same problem i posted about last week, which i keep encountering here's an example
theweasel
Well... after some more "digging" i realized that i had logarithmic exposure on and that was causing it. So, thanks a lot Rick for pointing that out...
