First VRay attempt

Hello people,

 

Here is my first attempt at texturing and rendering in VRay, some of you may recognise the house (from an online tutorial) but i didn't have much time so i had to concentrate on the materials. Any comments welcome.

welcome to cg architect man...u'll learn so much in here... u're defenately on the right track. ur lighting and texturing is coming along good..browse through tutorials on this site and u'll get so much information to help u progress.

Where did you get that grass texture? I've been looking for something like that.

Thanks for your positive response guys.

 

As noted the glass looks a bit dodgy, but this is purely because of time constraints and I had to leave it white.

 

The grass was an online tutorial at www.evermotion.org by Tobya[r]twork and i have to agree the grass looks pretty nice, it's the best grass I've ever produced anyway.

 

And the house itself was also an online tutorial at www.childsplaystudio.com.
