Parker1
I found a tutorial video and the guy's sample slots had a cool V-Ray logo on them to indicate that it was a VRay material. Does anyone know if this is possible to do and how to do it? I thought it was kind of cool.
Ricardo Eloy
Guess that happens because it's a demo version of VRay... Besides, he's using a standard material...
Parker1
I did notice it was a standard material just after I posted. Sorry. But...what if there was a way to have something like this appear only when Vray materials are in the sample slots? I still think it would be kind of cool to see at glance which materials were Vray and which were not. Kind of a neat MAX widget.
Ricardo Eloy
Guess it shouldn't be hard to script something like that... gotta check it.
FlytE
You could perhaps make a custom background for your material editor slots that has the vray logo on it instead of the coloured checker pattern. OK its not exactly what your after but its not far off (and would look alot better than that check pattern ).
