nzjimmy2001
i set up a scene in max with photmetric lights. i rendered the scene then changed my mind so deleted all the lights. for some reason my scene still renders as tho there are lights. when i try to put new lights in the scene it becomes overexposed. whats could be happening? Ricardo Eloy
1- Are you using radiosity? 2- Check the light lister to make sure you really deleted all the lights 3- Check the new lights' multiplier. IES lights come with a pre-defined strength, so maybe that's the case.
pirallah
If the lights are present in the light lister, you may have just hidden the lights. Try Shift+L (Hide/Show lights toggle) to show the lights. Its also possible that you've placed your lights on one layer and turned it off, in which case they will still show up in the light lister and still render, though you wont see it on the model viewports.
