3darchitect
Ok, so I need some help here. I have a model of a building made in ADT. I need to apply different materals to different faces of an object. The object is extruded polylines. Please tell me there is a way I can do this without making a separate object. FYI, I'm using 3ds and I'm totally new to the program and CG in general. I'll appreciate any help.
John Dollus
Couple ways to do this. Here is one: Lookup material ID's in the help file and use a multisubobject material Each face will have a unique identifier that relates to an identifier in the material definition.
