Living and dining room WIP - C&C are welcome

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I'm kind of a random user of these forums, kinda lazy in posting and replying, but I'll make an effort. Here is my last work in progress. The design is our firm's, it's a renovation of an old apartment in Brasília, capital of Brazil. We moved the kitchen to the other façade (so it could get more natural light and better exhaustion) and created a dining room on the old kitchen's place.

you guys can see more of our architecture work in our fotolog, there are some renderings there too: http://www.fotolog.com/esquadra. Our website is still under development: http://www.esquadra.arq.br

I'll try to keep posting. C&C are really welcome.

thanks in advance,

Thiago

Looking good, I especially like those pillows. It seems though that maybe you're trying to get too much of the room in on one shot. This makes it seem a little crowded and there doesn't seem to be a strong focal point that draws me in. Maybe get a couple different camera angles in there. Turn the camera around and let us see the windows and the view. Also, it might just be the perspective of the shot but the door in the back seems maybe a little to close to the wall. Other than that, I'm liking it.

You're right. The main focal point would be the dining room, there's another camera positioned to the left of this shot, and perhaps i'll get the dining room to get more attention. Concerning the door, it was built like this and we will not change it on this renovation design because there's a structural column on its side. But you're right, it's facing the wall!

Thanks for your comments and critics,

Thiago
