jccloutier
in 3ds max, the reflections in my building glass always come out perpendicular to the camera regardless of the host surface's angle to the camera. i.e. if you are facing the corner of the building, the facades on either side of the corner are 45 deg off the line of sight yet the reflections are the same angle on both sides. suggestions? this is regarding the environment map, not nearby objects. mahorela
your environment map is probably set to screen, therefore it is view based and will face the camera no matter what angle the camera is on and thus your reflections will follow suit. Try changing your background to spherical environment (if it's high res enough) otherwise you may have to create a background plane behind (curved/bent planes seem to work better) your camera. hope this helps and I'm understanding your problem correctly
