Hi All, Please can you give me some constructive criticism about the attached image. Personally the composition doesn't seem quite right but I can't put me finger on it. Don't hold back I won't be offended!

I agree. The composition is lacking. I believe the image has no TRUE point of interest. Nothing is quite "defined" enough as the point of interest of the rendering. I believe if you put a table and chairs in front of the window you could create an interest in the scene. Secondly the curtains seem to be blocking out light from the window. The penetrating light is very chopped up and doesn't quite achieve it's goal of giving depth to the interior space. If you worked on the translucency of the curtains and had a table for that light to fall on (and flow over) I believe you would significantly increase the point of interest.

Just my two cents.

I think your lighting setup and your texturing are VERY NICE! Good job!

awww my god!!! only joking!

those curtains make me want to see outside. Maybe open one of the windows and play with the gap between the curtains so you can see out a bit. As if the wind had blown them open for a split second. Maybe a pic of a nice garden or greenery, because the room looks like it belongs in a nice big estate (not council estate) house.

Also i noticed the plant pot on the table to the left seems to be glowing a bit.

Not that i could do any better, just telling ya what stood out to me.

looking good though man! keep it up fella.
