alikashan
hi guys may b it sound stupid but before this job i was working in feet and inches. and this job requires me work in cm. now problem is that almost all of my 3d meshes blocks are in inches or feet (max files). the problem is when i merge them into my recent enviorenment max files with cm as default unit. i am trying it very hard to scale them properly. is there any easy way to do it. thnx in advance. Brian Smith
I don't understand what the problem would be. You should have to scale. Even if your units were in kilometers, the furniture is still the same size and you shouldn't have to scale. If you did have to scale, however, the only issue would be where to put the pivot point. frazer
In the file which is in feet and inches change it to cm then import it into the new file.
Matt Clementson
In your new file set the SYSTEM units to be the same as your furniture files, then set the DISPLAY units to be cm. Then you can happily work in cm but your furniture will come in at the correct size.
arquiteck09
Even if your units were in kilometers, the furniture is still the same size hahahaha, i don´t know why but it makes me laugh so hard, i just can´t imagine somebody modeling some furniture in Kms. About the problem i was going to say the same as Baldrick, i import some models that way.
