cjlopez4
One week to final renders, C&C welcomed. Has anyone had a client sit by there computer and select furnishings? Or is it my luck the client's family is an interior designer....

cjlopez4
These are test images, how can I ramp up the settings or materials to make the images look more photo and less CG? Current settings: IRR Primary (medium, 30 Hsp, 15 interp) LC Secondary (1000 Sibdiv's, .03 sample and 5 interp) AA -1, 3 Each light has 30 subdiv's. I think at this point It's materials I need to work on. Do I set all my materials with more than 8 subdiv's?
arquiteck09
mmm, i use IRR + QMC, i don´t like LC, on the other hand the materials should have more subdvs depends on the shader, if it is reflective like glass or porcelan it should have more than 8, like 12 or 15 even 20, you should try and see what works better. FlytE
In irmap settings I would be tempted to put it up to 50.... also, im not sure its the materials you need to work on, I think its the lighting, mainly the spotlighting. Vray lights? if not do they have vray shadows and area shadow on?
cjlopez4
The reccessed can lights are photometric lights with an IES file mapped, with smooth surface shadows checked and 30 subdiv's. One direct light for sunlight, with transparent, smooth and area shadows checked, 9" UVW and also 30 subdiv's.
