mesht
i have re-mapped my old scenes in 1.1 completely. problem i've faced is when i modeled n apply texture to a particular model, and then merge that model into a scene, all my mapping and settings were gone. what is the cause of this? and sometimes, when i already assign material to a model, in my viewport the mapping was shown but when render, it just render as diffuse! Adehus
you can assign your texture path to the default texture path in studio preferences - it works! 'It works!' is only appropriate when, well, it works... having to tell MWR the paths again is a bug, isn't it?
Devin Johnston
Yes it's a bug and a very frustrating one, glad to see you’re giving 1.1 a try I think you'll find it's much improved over V1. On a different note, when someone is asking for help with a specific piece of software it doesn’t help them at all to suggest other render engines to use. If you don't like Maxwell that's fine but posting alternatives to it when that is not what is being asked for is just a waste of time.
