nightails
I have downloaded the maxwell plug-in for 3DS, but have no idea where to start. All I have from that Zip file is a doc file and a maxwell.dlr Can someone help me out here? Thank you so much!
Msamir
Put the maxwell.dlr in the plugins folder in the max directory.
nightails
okay, I did that, but then all the materials aren't showing up in Max tho. Is there something I did wrong or is there another way to apply material in max so it renders in Maxwell?

jsf
Use the Refresh Preview (it's in the upper right corner) in the Maxwell Material Editor when you create your MXM. That will get it to show up in the 3ds Max material editor. Then when you apply the MXM in your 3ds Max scene, use Refresh Preview in the Max Material Editor, it should be visible. Be sure to your are using the most current Max plugin.
