annalea
ive been doing an interior in 3ds. i tried the tutorials in creating exterior lights from the tutorial section of this webpage. ive tried to apply the tutorial with my model but the light wont penatrate inside. ive noticed that from the sample tutorial the openeings dont have windows. but my model does. could that be the reason why the lights wont penatrate? what do i do to make the lights get inside the interioir space? diegofer_9
I am going to guess you are using vray because it is a common problem. You are probablyl using a vray material for your glass. In that case, you have to check the affect shadows option in the material, otherwise, light wont go through. Hope this helps! D.
