omo
Dear friends I 'm already use auto smooth (angle = 45) But the wall still not smooth Anyone know how to fix it problem? Thank you very much for help
J.R.
if you imported the geometry from another software it might well be that the polygons are exploded. just weld all the vertices with a very small factor, and smooth should work.
omo
thank you very much J.R. i am try weld, but it 's seem a little more better but it 's still not smooth enough I 'm upload my file hope someone know how to make more smooth Thank you for help This is a very good site and many kind people here
Digital_Assassin
wireframe looks good in editable poly but if you look in editable mesh theres a few spots you can see where the wireframe needs work and vertexes around the edges need welding, as far as i can tell your problems in your wireframe, Id try welding all those extra verts then apply a mesh smooth modifier to get what your looking for, poly count will go up a bit, but should be worth it to smooth everything out. Brian Smith
William, You're right about welding the vertices, but the Mesh Smooth modifier will change the physical structure of model, so it should not be used. The Smooth modifier is the only thing that will fix this particular problem but before it can fix the problem there are numerous vertices that must first be welded (either as an Edit Poly or Edit Mesh).
