frank1331
This has happened to me mor ethan a few times now, so I thought I would see if anyone else has run into this. I have a model open in Max that I am working on, when somebody needs something done quickly in another program. So I save what I was working on, but don't close Max. Open the other program, do what I have to do. When I toggle back to Max, the objects are all gone, the only thing left showing is the object's gizmos, and the camera lines. Doesn't happen all the time, but have noticed it on various sized models, so I know model size isn't the factor. Was thinking it may be a vid card thing, so all drivers are updated. Nothing appears corrupt or missing, more of just a pain in the A. But it does require re-starting Max. Anybody seen this before, or better yet have a fix for it. Ricardo Eloy
Well, this sounds like a video card issue. Sometimes Max kindda looses your objects, especially on the perspective view. To which views does this happen? All of them?
frank1331
It generally occurs in a camera viewport. I have played with some of the driver settings, it seems to work a little better now.

Hi Frank, I am just guessing here, but if you have a ATI card it could be possibly because of the drivers.. one simple solution is to use DirectX drivers rather than openGL ones for your max viewport configuration.. Try it.. (Radeon cards have major problems with opelgl, dunno why).. Hope this helps..
