evanmister
so, usually if i was doing a high rise. i might model on floor and then array instances of that floor up to create all the other floors. is this the best way to conserve memory, file size, etc? or is there a better way? thanks! ITryMyBest
i just finished a high-rise about a month ago. and yes, doing one floor and arraying instances was my method and it worked out fine for me. it was also helpful because the design was not complete when i began as well. the thing to really prepare for is the view the client may want. you may have to ffd the entire building to get the view the client may be looking for without it looking distorted. don't forget to add camera correction to the camera also. hope everything goes well
