When i render from my machine i get the basic overall lighting as you would with a fresh new project, but for some reason when i send it to net render the frames are coming out very dark no matter what level I set the environmental global lighting level could do with some quick help here guys, bosses want a the final camera shots done by today!! taleequale
maybe the net render engine needs a real light to illuminate the scene..
Drunkenbear
I don't think thats the case? is that a guess, or is that so? why would the net render need that when a basic render doesnt?
taleequale
they are not the same thing.. the net render engine maybe doesn't have designed to work with no light.. the preview engine that you use from your single station has been thought to be more friendly, expecially for beginners, so the programmers have been giving to us the possibility to see the things that you are modelling.. Drunkenbear
so are you saying that net render need a light source? or otherwise some parts of an image will appear dark no matter what the global light source level?
taleequale
I think so.. give it a try.. put on a simple point light, with no shadow, and start the net render engine..

Conor Clancy
If your using vray its because the network nodes cant see the irradiance map. they can if you save the irradiance map to a shared drive.
