Ernest Burden III
At least you know he has some assets to go after. Not that it's worth the time on $5K. Hopefully its just an error, like the check was written on the wrong operating account.
jafs00
hey he didn't make his money by giving it away you know!!!! that was a sarcastic comment, by the way... By and by I've found that the best paying individual clients are not people with ridiculous amounts of money, of course there are exceptions, but they are not the norm. hopefully it was just an honest mistake. brianzajac
It turns out that the funds were added in...but the bank decided to hold the money for 10 days! Their reason: since the funds were so large, they had to take more time to verify the deposit. Hmmm...define irony: a $5k payment on an $11M development is considered "too much" from a bank. So, after a lengthy message (with the client profusely apologizing, might I add), the funds should be back in the account by now & we are redepositing the check. Let's just hope things go smoothly from here. As for any bank fees...the client's bank is refunding that.

Ray
I guess he didn't see the other thread. The only way to settle this is we all change our names to Brian. Jeff, can you manage that?
