erickdt
Hi all, My first post and submission to the forum. I look forward to learning some of the tips and tricks that you all use to create some of these truly awesome images. Anyway... This is my second attempt at creating a realistic interior with VIZ and V-Ray. I think the first image (sans furniture) looks pretty convincing but the second (with the furniture) seems somehow off. Any advice or ideas would be appreciated!

Realmind
Hi.your first pic is good but empty.I think that Stone column is not good enough! Its texture is poor.please work more on it.but your light is very nice.I think that you can have some light and shadow on the floor.it can give your image more sense!at the end your right side wall material is so bad. Second pic in term of furniture is well.please try to increase the shadow quality.please let me to see light and shadow on the floor again!I have some problem with your stone column. any way,Those are good and acceptable works! Jefferson Grigsby
The green color on the wall is tad bit unrealistic, I also agree with the CMU Column and Populating the view with furnature and entourage.
Jason Matthews
Detail will really bring out this image. For instance, your window has no frame. I also think that you floor is scaled a little too large in the vertical direction. In the first image (as mentioned) you need more fill of objects. Perhaps some recessed lights under the loft and perhaps a plant or something. Change the material of the handrail and stringers of the stair. Other than that good job.
