website for reviewing arch firm experiences

This is a website created to provide info on the work experiences at different firms. The site has grown quite large and has a lot of good info for anyone thinking about joining a particular firm.

 

I, for one, would like to see something similar for our industry. It would be a great awareness tool regarding the quality of life at different studios.

I remember seeing this a year or so ago. I'm not so sure it would work as well for arch viz studios. Maybe it would but I think since there are so few, and are much smaller in size in comparison to architecture firms that one or two disgruntled employees could really ruin a studios rep.

I've seen this before and gotten a good laugh because i can pretty much tell who the people are that are commenting on the firm i worked at and they typically have an axe to grind. However, their analysis is pretty on. on do wonder though, if this web site runs any libel risks, i mean, no one varifies the content. must be a disclaimer somewhere (i love those).

 

Would be nice though, maybe not a site that rates viz firms, but a site that rates a renderers experiences with firms... did they pay? timenly? pains in the ass or not?
