jophus14
I added a some new window frames to an image from a few weeks back and when calculating the new lighting calculations, my image says that i have materials that returned overbright or invalid color. All of my materials are Vray materials and they rendered out fine a few weeks ago without any warning. I like the way the image looks in the LightCache calculation, but when it comes time to calculate the irradiance map, it gets really dark (black) and the image renders darker then the lightcache calculation shows. Why is this happening?

jophus14
Well it still happened depending on what Region i was rendering. Everytime I decided to switch regions, I had to convert all of my textures to Vray even though they are already Vray materials. I think it had a glitch with the bitmaps i was using. I had to let my image calculate then see if when it came time for my Irr map to calculate whether it would be dark or not. If not, I just saved the maps and rendered. If so, I would convert the materials, move my region around and re-calculate with my fingers crossed. This is the first time that it has ever happened to me and since I rendered this image before, I'm not even sure why it happened. Hope that was the last I would ever have to go through that.
